Installing @Backup

Please perform the following steps to install the @Backup software. You will need your Machine ID and Password.

Downloading @Backup
This will install the @Backup program and all required components.

  • Click the "Start Download" button below
  • Select 'Open' in the File Download dialog box
  • When prompted, enter your Machine ID and password and click 'OK' twice.
  • Follow the instructions in the Online Backup Setup dialog*

* It is strongly suggested to install Online Backup to the default folder. Any other location may impact your ability to properly use the program.

If you are new to Online Backup, follow the instructions in the Getting Started tutorial after you complete your installation. 

If you are restoring files to this computer for temporary use please use our web restore feature.

If you would like to protect multiple PC with @Backup please signup for an account for each PC.

 

Reinstalling @Backup

After you complete your reinstallation of @Backup, you will need to refresh the client with the data center. This process will verify your account information and download the backup history database stored at our data center.

  • Click the "Start Download" button below
  • Select 'Open' in the File Download dialog box

The Online Backup engine will run and download the necessary files to complete your installation. After this is complete your backup sets will be available for restore.
