Restoring your files using the main @Backup program

This tutorial will step you through restoring your backed up files to your computer using the @Backup application installed on your PC.  We suggest you leave your web-browser open and follow the instructions.

1. Double left-click on the @Backup icon located in your system tray.

2. Click on the "Restore" button.  This will display all of the dates you have completed a backup within the last 90-days.

3.  Select which date you would like to restore your files from.

4. Place a checkmark in the white box next to the date, drive or folder you wish to restore.

If you wish to restore individual files, click on the drive or folder on the left hand side and make your selection on the right hand side.

5.  Select the destination for the data you are restoring and click 'Start Restore.

Your restore will now begin. Let it run until it completes. Once finished, your data will be safely restored to your selected destination.

NoteYour data is encrypted on our servers. Restore may take 30-60 minutes or longer depending on the number of versions of the data you’ve backed up.  Please do not stop the restore process unless you do not intend to restore the data. Otherwise the restore will have to start over from the beginning.
